Appearance
Preview Settings - Footers (Desktop)
What it is: The footer configuration options within the Preview Settings pane, controlling how page numbers, footer text, unaudited labels, and printing dates appear on the printed AFS.
What it's for
Professional financial statements require consistent, correctly positioned footers — page numbers in the right format, unaudited disclaimers on supplementary sections, and optionally the date the document was printed. This settings panel lets the firm standardise that presentation across all documents.
How to do it
Open footer settings
- Open a Financials preview (Format tab > Financials).
- In the Preview Settings pane, navigate to Footers.
Footer font
- Under Footer Font, set the font face, colour, and size for all footer text and page numbers using the drop-downs.
Page numbers
- Under Page Number, configure position (top/bottom), range (all pages or selected), format (e.g. "1", "Page 1", "1 of n"), and location (left/centre/right).
Footer line and unaudited footer
- Tick Footer Line to display a horizontal line above the footer on every page.
- Tick Unaudited Footer to add an unaudited disclaimer to the footer of supplementary information pages only.
Date printed
- Under Date Printed, use the drop-downs to set the position and date format.
Custom footers per sheet
- Under Worksheets, type a custom footer text next to the relevant sheet name to override the default footer for that page.
